German Park . 德國公園

在安娜堡鄰近的Pontiac Trail 路上, 有一個一年才舉辦三次的德國公園巴伐利亞慶祝活動.平常人跟本不會知道有這個地方. 是因為十年前朋友告之才知有此樂園. 現在我們是每年一定不會錯過這個既可享受味美的德國香腸, 還可痛飲純正德國啤酒的好地方.真是不亦樂乎也.

German Park is located on the far northeast side of Ann Arbor, definitely off the beaten path. On the last Saturday of June/July/August there is an all day festival featuring German food, music, and, of course, beer. This year, I told some of my friends whom has never heard about this place before. As they went, they told me " How'd I live my whole life in Ann Arbor and never make it to German Park until now?!? What a fantastic oasis!!!". Yes, Indeed, this is what I meant...

Up North . 北密之旅

The trip to the dune climb was quite fun. Pilou trying to roll down from the sand dune and he fell to the ground. As you can imagine that he ate plenty of sands accidentally..

麻雀寶寶

Yesterday, when I was trimming the front yard evergreen bush I discovered a bird nest. Inside the nest, they were two little baby birds 麻雀寶寶and they look quite hungry.

This morning, Jean found out that one of the little bird fell on the ground, the poor little bird still can't fly yet, therefore, I went pick him up and put him back to his nest. The little bird looks so scared for my action and then fell again onto the branches. I decided not to disturbed him and observed a while. As the birds parents discovered my movement around the nest, all of a sudden they both tried to attack me by flying around me. Geese!!

昨天，當我在整理前院常青灌木時, 我發現了一個鳥巢。在巢裡，有二隻麻雀寶寶，他們看起來相當飢餓。今晨，Jean 發現了其中一隻麻雀寶寶掉到了地面,可膦的麻雀寶寶還不會飛. 我把它放回它的巢。我的行動可能驚嚇到它, 麻雀寶寶又再次掉在灌木的分支上。這時我決定不去干擾它了。此時麻雀爸爸媽媽發現了我，設法飛在我附近要來攻擊我。

Two hours ago, I discovered that one of the baby bird was missing from its nest, and one them fell on the ground again, thus, I picked him up and this time the little bird didn't even fight for it. I hope that the other baby bird is OK.

二個小時前，我發現麻雀寶寶又再次掉到了地面，我把它再撿起來, 這次麻雀寶寶沒有反抗。我希望另外一隻麻雀寶寶沒事。

Once again, when I return to my birth place, my heart fill with emotion and a bit of sadness combine. This old house where I lived for my first 18 years of my early life has such great impact and inspiration on me. This is a house where I shared all the memories with my siblings and stories that touches my heart again and again...

再次, 當我回到我的出生地、我的心充滿激動和無限的感傷。這個我居住18年的老房子對我的人生產生巨大的衝擊和啟發。這是我與我的兄弟姐妹一起成長的地方. 這是一個再次觸動我心弦和所有記憶的老房子.

Sometimes, memories are sweet; sometimes are bitter. Often, when they mix together they become the best anti homesick remedy.
